The Jordanian Certified Public Accountant (JCPA) program is designed to qualify professional cadres and elevate the accounting and auditing profession in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The program focuses on equipping participants with advanced knowledge and skills in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards on Auditing (ISA), and the Jordanian legislations and laws governing the profession and corporations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in professional performance.

  • Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (in accordance with the regulations of the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants).

  • Submission of official academic certificates and supporting documentation.

The exam is conducted in coordination with the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants (JACPA) and consists of two primary papers:

  1. Paper One: Jordanian Legislations and Laws (Corporate Law, Income and Sales Tax Law, Securities Law, and professional regulations).

  2. Paper Two: Accounting and Auditing (International Financial Reporting Standards, advanced accounting, and auditing standards).

  • Understand and apply financial and commercial laws and legislations in force in Jordan.

  • Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in compliance with IFRS.

  • Plan and execute external and internal auditing processes based on International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

  • Adhere to the professional code of ethics and conduct for certified public accountants.
